Turning an ’80s home, complete with electric blue carpet and built-in dark brick bar, into a modern wonder. The transformation is nothing short of jaw-dropping.
Scope Of Works
First things first, we ditched the old electric blue carpet and knocked down an internal wall as well as the old bar to open up the space. We patched the plasterboard ceiling and squared off all internal archways throughout the home to give it more of a present-day feel. We supplied and installed whitewash timber floating flooring throughout the home, immediately brightening up the entire space. With a couple of coats of new paint and a full set of LED downlights the main living space was complete.
Next up was the original red-tiled bathroom where we removed all existing fixtures and fittings, toilet, bath, shower, vanity, tiles, wall and ceiling sheeting. We then put in new sheeting with villa board walls and a plasterboard ceiling. We applied two coats of waterproofing followed by 300 x 300 mm charcoal floor tiles and 300 x 600 mm white, gloss tiles along with a charcoal feature wall.
We completed the bathroom with a brand new frameless shower, custom vanity, corner bath, toilet, new powerpoints and downlights. Within just 4 weeks, this home was transformed into a stylish, modern house with plenty of bright and airy space.
WEEKS TO COMPLETION
We are so happy with the work they did on our bathroom. It was a pleasure dealing with Giovanni. Nothing was ever an issue for him. Highly recommended.
