Lots of light and plenty of space.
The original 30-year-old bathroom had a shower, small window, not much light and dated fittings. We removed all the original fixtures, fittings – toilet, vanity and shower, and demolished an internal wall to allow for more light to enter the room via a large window above the vanity.
The existing fixtures and fittings, toilet, vanity & shower were removed. We removed all the wall and floor tiles followed by the wall and ceiling sheeting.
We demolished the existing internal wall to create a wider window opening, which ran the full width of the room, allowing maximum internal light. We capped off the existing plumbing to the shower and relocated all plumbing pipework for the new location of the vanity.
We then installed new sliding windows and a new villa board to the walls as well as new plasterboard for the ceiling. We applied two coats of waterproofing membrane before the tilers were on-site to do their part, installing the large floor and wall tiles alongside an elegant mosaic feature to complement the large mirror.
The client chose a Caeser Stone wall-hung basin and benchtop which ran from wall to wall, as well as a new toilet and basin bowl above the counter, complete with new tapware. We finished off with fresh paint throughout and PVC plantation shutters.

Nothing was ever a bother for them. When we made changes mid-project, they adjusted accordingly and delivered.
ABR's attention to detail and workmanship really shone through after we started using the bathroom. It's not until you spend a little time in a space that you realise the quality that goes into the work.
